Hi join folks from different organizations this upcoming Saturday at the UCR Community Garden where we will be:
- Harvesting oranges for family/friends and local organizations
- Sharing lunch (bring your own sack lunch!)
- Connecting with folks in Riverside doing cool things
- Learning about the garden and different possibilities to get involved!

The Dig ‘n’ Dance as a wrap up to all the events celebrating Earth Week.

Directions: Off the 16/215 Freeway on Martin Luther King Avenue, enter UC Riverside Lot 30.
Across Agricultural Operations by the orange groves at UC Riverside
FREE Event: for people of all ages and will feature great live music from local bands Pococurante (http://poco.bandcamp.com/) & Quita Penas (http://quitapenasmusic.com/) from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. It will be a great opportunity to meet some amazing people while learning about important issues and gardening!
Activities: There will be tours of the garden, free food and freshly squeezed orange juice, sustainable games with take home prizes, hands-on art and screen printing, opportunities to learn about community organizations, and demonstrations of sustainability such as the solar generator and future plans for the garden.

DIG N’ DANCE

Hello Riverside Community Member!
Cultivate R’Space is hosting The Dig N’ Dance at the UCR Community Garden this Saturday from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm! This free event is for people of all ages, has great live music (Pococurante & Quita Penas), and is a great opportunity to meet some amazing people while learning about important issues and gardening!

Activities: There will be tours of the garden, free food, sustainable games with take home prizes, opportunities to learn about community organizations, and demonstrations of sustainability such as the solar generator and future plans for the garden.
We hope you can make it out to this event where we can have a fun social get together while still being exposed to issues that can be worked on as a community to make a positive change.
